Dear Parents,

I would like to take this opportunity to tell you how thankful I am to have such a wonderful staff, hard working students and supportive parents.  Enjoy this time to be with your family and reflect on the season ahead.  You will all be in my thoughts and prayers on Thanksgiving Day.

Principal for a Day

Find out firsthand what it is like to run a public school by being paired with a school administrator and becoming “Principal for a Day”.  Participants experience the multiple roles school leaders play.  Join us Friday, January 23, from 9:00am to 1:00pm for the 17^th Annual Principal for a Day to learn more about the rewards and challenges of public school education.  Or sponsor a future educator by sending them in your place.  Final registration date is December 9, 2008.  Any questions please contact Ann Unger at

Skyblue Mesa’s Holiday Family Night

Skyblue Mesa's Holiday Family Night is scheduled for Friday, December 5, 2008, from 6:00pm-8pm. This is a chance for families to get together and celebrate the holiday season. The evening will include crafts, games and a visit from Santa! Pizza and drinks will be sold.
If you are a parent that can help out during the event, please email skybluemesapto@yahoo.com . We need help setting up, serving food, etc. Even a half hour of your time would be great.

Food Drive for the Hunger Defense

                      Fund

We will be having a Food Drive for the Hunger Defense Fund helping families in the Canyon Country area from

December 1^st – 19^th.  Bring to classroom or school office.  Please donate anything you can.

 

SCV Sheriff Station Toy Drive

Skyblue Mesa is collecting new, unwrapped toys in the school office for the SCV Sheriff Station Toy Drive.  The last day to drop off a toy is

December 16^th.

Quiero aprovechar esta oportunidad para decirles lo agradecida que estoy de tener este maravilloso personal, estudiantes que trabajan tan duro y padres que nos ayudad tanto.  Disfruten este tiempo con su familia y piensen sobre la estación que se acerca.  Uds. estarán en mis pensamientos y oraciones en el Día de Gracias.

Principal por un Día

Encuentre de primera mano como es un día de Principal de una escuela pública acompañando a los administradores y siendo “Principal por un Día.”  Participando y experimentando las múltiples funciones que un jefe de escuela desempeña. Únase con nosotros el Viernes 23 de Enero de 9:00 a.m. a 1:00 p.m. para celebrar los 17 años de Principal por un Día y aprenda más acerca de recompensa y desafío que es la educación en la escuela pública.  Puede mandar a un futuro educador en su lugar.  La matriculacion termina el 9 de Diciembre de 2008.  Cualquier pregunta por favor póngase en contacto con Ann Unger en

Regreso la Tienda de Estudiante

La Tienda de Estudiante abre el Viernes 5 de Diciembre, durante el almuerzo! (lunch)  Venga y compre todo lo que necesita para la escuela.  Recuerde, la Tienda de Estudiante no abre en los Días Cortos.

Noche de Fiesta de Familia en Skyblue

La fiesta de Noche de Familia en Skyblue Mesa esta programada para Viernes, 5 de Diciembre, 2008 de 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m.  Este es el oportunidad para la familia reunirse y celebrar la estación de fiestas.  La tarde incluye arte, jugos y la visita de Santa!  Pizza y bebidas serán vendidas.

 

Si Ud. es un padre que puede ayudar durante el evento, por favor email (correo electrónico) skybluemesapto@yahoo.com. Nosotros necesitamos ayuda para adornar, servir comida, etc.  Aunque sea media hora de su tiempo será altamente apreciado.
